LuLa Deli Deluxe in Berlin

My wife ordered a vegan burger on the phone. I came to pick up the vegan burger and when i arrived home it was a meat hamburger. Came back to the restaurant to collect my vegan burger. And the guy starts to tell me the next time would be better if my “girlfriend” or wife came to pick it up. So i said i had asked for the right vegan hamburger, even at the entrance where there was this woman. and he replied they had to pay for it. So i had to go. So we ended up paying for a hamburger that we didn’t want. A very unpleasant experience all in all. Very bad customer service.

In the heart of Friedenau. Good and varied selection, high quality, even if something in the expensive price segment, something for everyone. Price fully justified. Ambience very nice, but plagued by wasps in summer when you sit outside. Wife and I especially recommend the pancakes of the month !!! Staff very young, friendly and accommodating.

Delicious breakfast, nice service.

This is our favorite restaurant. The kitchen is just great and the team is very creative, especially in Corona times. Keep it up.

Incredibly unfriendly, disinterested service. We went there today for waffles, bowls and mulled wine but will NEVER do that again. No smile, no friendliness: nothing. In addition, NONE of the employees present wore a mask: neither in the interior of the restaurant nor in the tent where the waffles are made. Around 12 employees were standing in the interior of the Lula Deli, chatting loudly and shouting, all without masks, without any distance from the customers who were picking up their food at the counter. I'll ask the health department on Monday whether they have been informed about it. Impossible loading.

I never thought I'd become a burger fan one day. But you can't help it here. MEGA delicious, great attentive staff. What more do you need. Top

Nice restaurant / cafe! Friendly staff! You should definitely make a reservation, even during the week, otherwise it is difficult to get a table. The cinnamon rolls are always worth it (really huge!) And the breakfast varieties are also all vegetarian.

Went there for brunch today. We were received very nicely and the waiter was extremely friendly, attentive and at the same time humorous. The food was very tasty. Quality was very good. In terms of price, we are in the middle segment. Price performance good. I was satisfied and so were my friends. Many Thanks. We will be back

Big space, very nice to have breakfast, brunch, dinner or night drinks at the bar here. Turn down the lights after 6 to make it more atmospheric. Food is good and you can choose from many options: burgers, fries, 6 diff. brunchplates, eggdishes, soups, etc. . Egg and beef organic. Very nice wines actually;)

Delicious! First time here! The Greek Bowl really blew me away! Very tasty, unique taste and picks up Memories from Greece up again. I can only recommend eating here. Young staff, music nice R&B, slow moderately ... my taste

Great neighborhood spot for a bite to eat and fun people watching, too. Friendly staff and a big menu. Everything we had was delicious and beautifully presented. Fair prices for the experience. Great and convenient location for a neighborhood spot.

A Good restaurant and good service/kitchen (it all became far better 👍😀👍) There are two lulas almost at the same place. One serves pizza, the other one a more Asian style kitchen. I'm writing about the last one. The restaurant itself is modern, the chairs outside a bit uncomfortable, but nice little details create a cosy atmosphere. The service is good and most of the time, they fulfill any extra wish you may have. The bread is fresh and tasty, the burgers are really good (especially the barbecue burger). Prices are ok. A bit expensive maybe (breakfast with some cheese and bread is about 10 Euro) exkcl. any drinks

Food: 1/10 We have tried their burger. The meat had a very strange and pungent smell. We could feel the smell as soon as the order arrived at our table. We were quite hungry and didn't want to cause a scene so we ate the burgers. It was a wrong decision. Afterwards we didn't feel much good. Our guess: the meat was either not fresh or from a bad quality. On Instagram they delete all the bad but honest reviews. And I guess on google, they just buy the reviews from shady firms that offer such services. Service: 10/10 Price: 7/10

We love breakfast here! The bread is fresh and homemade, the scrambled eggs are particularly fluffy and the homemade pastes are unique. The coffee is delicious too. Unfortunately there is a point deduction because we had to wait a long time for our breakfast (40-50 minutes). The staff were very nice.

Don’t you love it when an establishment takes your money and then decides how you have to eat their dish? asked to have my sandwich grilled, but they only grill their cheese sandwiches. All the other sandwiches you have to eat glietschig. No more Luna for me

The food is not in a price-performance ratio and if you want to have the food packed you pay 1.50 € for packaging that is max. € 0.25 costs. The store seems to need it ... is probably more appearance than existence.

The coffee and the food are delicious, but I think it's a cheek to pay an additional 60 cents (!) For a plant-based milk, especially when the café is so bio-vegetarian and the prices are really steep - for an oat cappuccino I then pay 3.60 €. I think that's a shame these days and is therefore a reason for me to avoid the café at the moment, fortunately there are very good alternatives in Berlin. As soon as something should change in this direction, I'll be happy to come back.

Really nice restaurant for breakfast and dinner too. Large selection of dishes from savory to sweet. Inside also very tastefully decorated and nice staff. Unfortunately, the service doesn't keep up and there are longer waiting times.

The breakfast in the Lula is rather expensive, but you also get delicious and extraordinary dishes on your plate. Always my pleasure. One star less, because apparently too few staff are available with so much business ... It takes time to order and pay. The food itself is served quickly.

The food was delicious and the restaurant was very tastefully decorated. Unfortunately, the service does not keep up and so there are long waiting times when taking the order or paying. We'd love to come back anyway, because the food is totally convincing!

A beautiful place with great decoration. A bit overpriced and the pancakes were horrible. Dense, thick and you can taste the baking powder or baking soda. There wasn't enough syrup on them either. I would go again but never order the pancakes.

Nice coffee. The warm brownie with ice cream was very, very tasty. I also really like the ambience with many plants. Apparently very popular for dinner, since all tables were already reserved. So it is safer to reserve in advance to eat.

Great breakfast options (really good and fluffy pancakes!) with monthly specials. Cozy interior with a lot of plants, big terrace. Dinner options are also very tasty - bowls, Burger, also Thai dishes. Dogs are welcome :)

Cosy atmosphere, nicely designed café, I also like the green touch with the many plants. Our young waiter delivered a polite and efficient service. Capuccino tasted good but very small for 2,80€ and the cake was a decent size but really average tasting for 3.70€ which is quite a lot. In my opinion a little too expensive for what you get.

Lovely place full of plants with big breakfast menu.Service was fast,polite and english -speaking.I comfortably fitted in with my daughters stroller.Pankakes was 8,90 € and tasted awesome !Coffee is quite good too!

Good food options that are complementary to the sister restaurant Lula am Markt. Friendly staff. Prices above average but justified by the ecological and regional ingredients.

Excellent quality, enormous potions (by British standards anyway) and great atmosphere. Busy but worth it!

Really bad service. They are rude and kick us and the table next to us out at 22h when they normally close at 24h. They refuse to serve hot drinks only soda. You should avoir that place

Food was good, service was ok, nevertheless I would recommend to organize it in a better way. We had to wait like 10 min to order sth and we were attended from 5 different waiters. Thanks!

Ordered food for two people, my girlfriends food didn't arrive until long after I had finished. Had to ask for it four times. It eventually arrived cold with no apology. Orange juice was so sour that it was undrinkable. My food was edible but very basic.

I had a bagel with avocados breakfast here and was very happy with it. The breakfast was ready in 5 minutes or so. They have an extensive menu and lots of breakfast and lunch options. They have a lot of seating area so there isn't a wait unlike many other breakfast places in Berlin. The place is filled with plants and has a very green and natural feeling. The staff is super friendly and speak English. I'd recommend this place.
